Organization
The activities of KPMG Switzerland are combined under the umbrella of KPMG Holding AG. KPMG Holding AG, together with its subsidiaries, is the Swiss member of the KPMG International network. KPMG Holding AG's shares are held by KPMG Europe LLP.
KPMG Europe LLP is the largest fully-integrated auditing and consulting company in Europe. As a group company, KPMG Europe LLP is registered in London and based in Frankfurt am Main. KPMG ensures the smooth conduct of its subsidiaries' business, enabling seamless and efficient cooperation between the divisions, although the various member firms in each country handle their legal affairs independently.
KPMG International is a Swiss cooperative and acts as a coordinator for the network of independent members. Services for clients in Audit, Tax and Advisory are offered and supplied exclusively by member firms. Their status as legally independent entities means that national companies are responsible for their own actions vis-à-vis third parties.
